Impressive! This second wine from Osoyoos Larose is a pure pleasure in mouth and for your wallet. Even though you will have to pay $25, it’s hard to find better at that price and for that quality.

The Osoyoos Larose Pétales d’Osoyoos 2006 is elaborated from a blend made of Merlot (67%), Cabernet Sauvignon (18%), Malbec (8%), Petit Verdot (4%) and Cabernet Franc (3%).

From the ruby color through the finish, you will be charmed with the elegance of this wine. On the nose, ripe fruits and balsamic aromas. On the palate. velvet flavors of fruits. Blackcurrant and cherry notes that lead to a more tobacco and chocolate flavors. Fleshy tannins and a moderate finish.

Pair with roasted meats and firm cheeses.

Serving temperature: 16 -17 °C (61 -63°F)
Ready to drink now or cellar until 2015
