Niagara Wine Festival Day 1 – Konzelmann Estate

KonzelmannFirst day of our annual wine tour of Niagara (Ontario, Canada) wine region. We visited some great wineries and tasted some great wines, one of them was the famous icewine Vidal from Konzelmann that was rank among the top 100 list of the Wine Spectator magazine. Konzelmann was the first Canadian winery to have a wine listed on that famous list, something that Canadian wineries are really proud of and that icewine really deserve to be recognized, it’s just that great!

Konzelmann are located right by the Ontario lake and offer a fabulous view when you walk into the vineyard. Their wine portfolio is quite diversified, from a sparkling Rosé made from Merlot and Shiraz, to the Cabernet Sauvignon, their popular Red Moose (Zweigelt) and, of course, the Vidal icewine and the Cabernet Sauvignon icewine, this is for sure a winery you need to visit if you’re in the Niagara region.
