Chardonnay Clos du Bois Calcaire Russian River Valley 2007 | Wine of the Week

What a nice wine from the Russian River Valley, California. This 100% Chardonnay has a brilliant silver-gold color. On the nose, intense layered aromas of coconut, pear, apple blossom, lemon and almond. On the palate, a full-bodied white wine exhibiting flavors of citrus zest with cinnamon and crème brulée. A beautiful mouth that lead to a long and rich finish.

This Chardonnay Clos du Bois Calcaire Russian River Valley 2007 is sold $23 in the US and $25 in Quebec.

Will complement lobster in lemon butter, poultry, pasta with white sauce and grilled salmon.

Serving temperature: 12 – 14 ° C. (54-57°F)
Ready to drink now or cellar until 2013
