A nice blend made of 55% Sangiovese 25% Cabernet Sauvignon 15% Merlot and 5% Syrah. The 2005 vintage of this wine is one of the strongest offered to date.
The color is intense ruby. The nose exhibits blackcurrant cherry and plum aromas. There are also some frankincense and coffee notes. On the palate it’s a full-bodied wine rich in flavors described for the nose. Gorgeous and refreshing this wine has soft tannins.
Paired with osso buco pastas lamb and strong cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16 °C
Ready to drink now or cellar until 2012.
