The Wolftrap wine is a nice blend made of Viognier, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Each of these varietals completes each other to offer a beautiful wine. Especially at the price this wine is offered, $11 in the US and around $15.75 in Canada.

This South Africa wine is produced by the same producer that the famous Chocolate Block and of the well-known Porcupine Ridge.

The color is dark ruby. The nose is floral, fruity and spicy. The nose is also added by blackberries, plums and chocolate aromas. On the palate, black pepper, red fruits and spicy flavors. The Syrah brings a nice spicy and tannins side. The Syrah lovers’ will like this wine. The finish is long.

Paired with grilled BBQ steak and red meat.

Serving temperature: 16 to 17°C (60-63°F)
