Wine of the week | Vinivino's review
19 October 2009
Vintage 2006 was one of the most condensed vintages experienced at d’Arenberg and one of the best ever. The Stump Jump Red d'Arenberg 2006 is definitively constant with this mention.

A blend made of Grenache 48%, Shiraz 28% and Mourvedre 24%. The color is bright ruby red. On the nose, ripe juicy red fruits, cranberries, spice, cardamom, green pepper and earthy herbal aromas. The palate is fruity with plums, clove, white chocolate and spices flavors. It’s a rich and ripe wine with balanced tannins.

Paired with carbonara sauce pastas, veal scaloppini, pizza and roast beef.

Serving temperature: 16 to 17°C (61-63°F)
Ready to drink now or cellared until 2011.
