Wine of the week | Vinivino's review
02 February 2009
Last October, the 2001 vintage of this wine was our wine of the week. This time, it’s the 2004 vintage. The same that is at the sixth position of the Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2008.

The color is an intense garnet with some orange touch. The nose exhibits hints of violets, blackberry, licorice, mint, chocolate and cloves. On the palate, the mouth is powerful and juicy with intense tannins and notes of plums and flower. An elegant and very long finish.

It will be a good match with a filet mignon, osso bucco and mild cheeses.

Serving temperature: 16-18 ° C.

Ready to drink in 2010 or cellar until 2014.
