This is an elegant wine without a doubt. The color is intense ruby. The nose exhibits berries, spices and tobacco aromas. The round and full mount combines nicely the structure of the Sangiovese and of the Cabernet Sauvignon and also the taste of the Merlot. A nice refreshing wine with silky tannins.
Will be an excellent match with your roast beef and other roasted or grilled red meats.
The 2006 vintage is reaching the SAQ (in Quebec) this week. Hopefully the 2006 will be as generous than the 2005. Talking of the 2005, there is still few bottles available in store.
Serving temperature: 16-17 ° C.
Ready to drink now but will reach its full potential after 2009.
