The Barranc Dels Closos Mas Igneus Priorat is a blend made of 80% Grenache and 20% Carignan. After 3 months in French oak barrels, this wine showcases a deep ruby color. The nose presents kirsch liqueur, licorice and strawberry aromas. Black cherries and roasted fruits also complete its nose. On the palate, it’s a full-bodied wine. You will enjoy this well-balanced wine for all its characters and its long finish.
Paired it with red grilled meat, game and duck confit.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18 ° C. (61 - 64 °F)
Ready to drink now or cellar until 2012.
