Wine of the week | Vinivino's review
09 February 2009
The flagship wine of Wirra Wirra. The Angelus, is known on the international market under the name of the Dead Ringer. A brand name dispute gives us two names for this same wine. The Angelus on the Australian market and the Dead Ringer on the international market.

The color is deep violet. The nose exhibits blackberries fruits, cassis and blackcurrants aromas. These aromas are also added with hints of leather, cigar, aniseed and some spicy aromas. On the palate, the mouth is velvet and stylish. A powerful and juicy Cabernet Sauvignon with intense tannins and notes of blackcurrants, blackberries and oak.

It will be a good match with a filet mignon, game, lamb and mild cheeses.

Serving temperature: 16-18 ° C.

Ready to drink now or cellar until 2020.
