Shiraz Ned & Henry’s Hewitson 2006 – Wine of the week

A great Shiraz from the Australian winery, Hewitson who has already offered the famous Miss Harry and the powerful The Mad Hatter. The Ned & Henry’s is born from a challenge to Dean Hewitson, he had to produce a red that can be drunk young and fits the philosophy of the house; french oak, fine-grained tannins, balance, clear fruit expression. Challenge won!

Nice intense red color with a little violet. On the nose, distinctive flavors of the Barossa Valley, such as red and black fruits, nuts and pepper are highlighted. Well balanced mouth, lots of ripe fruit, chocolate and blackberry.

Enjoy this Shiraz with a grilled filet mignon or maybe a leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary.

Serving temperature: 16-18 ° C.
To drink now or retained until 2015.
