In a style somewhat surprising for this appellation, this wine will appeal to the Central Coast fans of the red northern Rhone Valley (Crozes-Hermitage and St. Joseph). Fresh acidity combined with ripe fruit provides balance. Medium-bodied red will marry this beautiful perfectly with the grilled veal and pork.
