La Vieille Ferme Rouge Côtes du Ventoux 2007 | Wine of the Week

The famille Perrin, producer of the excellent Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is constant in the elaboration of the La Vieille Ferme Rouge Côtes du Ventoux 2007. In fact, year after year, this blend made of Grenache 50%, Syrah 20%, Carignan 15% and 15% Cinsault offers a great value. From a nice purple color, the nose showcases fresh and fruity aromas. Nice notes of strawberries, raspberries and kirsch. On the palate, it’s a refreshing and expressive wine. Fruity flavors and pleasant tannins.

Paired with lamb mechoui, terrine, sausages, pork and veal.

Serving temperature: 16-17 °C (61-63°F)
