The Wine of the week of the community De Toren Z 2006

It’s from the rich block called ”Z” of the De Toren vineyard in South Africa that this pure Bordeaux’s style wine come from. A blend made of 34% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 17% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot.

The color is intense ruby red. On the nose, rose petals, plum and blueberry fruits aromas. The mouth is well balanced, a nice balance of acidity and freshness. Cinnamon, plum and blueberry flavors finish this well rounded tannins mouth.

It will be a good match with lamb, Osso Buco and entrecote fillet.

Serving temperature: 16-17 ° C.
Ready to drink now if decanted for at least 1 hour or cellar until 2016.
